CHAMBER CHOIR RESULTS

PLEASE READ ALL

Thank you to everyone who auditioned! This honestly was the hardest decision I have had to make during Chamber auditions, as there were so many talented choices! 

Please know that if you did not make it, that does not mean you are a bad singer. I think all of you did amazing, and I truly thought, overthought, and lost hours of sleep trying to make the best decision for the group. If you did not make it this year, please try in a future year.

Voice Parts: Sopranos and Altos will be decided next year. I would like to work with you as a group to find the right balance. Please note that parts can change depending on the song.

Voice Lessons: 

I am going to start encouraging students to get into voice lessons. This could be with me, or it could be with another voice teacher. This is not a requirement, but I feel that every student could benefit from one-on-one time with a coach. Most of my private students have voice lessons once a week, but I feel that even a lesson every two weeks or even once a month could be beneficial. 

Voice lessons with me will be at a discounted price of $50/hr per lesson, depending on the time we can arrange. Again, this is NOT required, but encouraged. 

If there are any financial concerns about outfits or voice lessons (If you would like to take them), please let me know! I am willing to work with you!
